So, where’s our update? Does baby have a name? Have you been paid yet?

I just want to remind everyone that the last online name-a-real-life-person contest that I heard of resulted in a guy being named “Sunshine Megatron”.

Not making this up.

Kurt – well, I guess he could have people call him Sunny… or Mega.

Has anybody involved in this process considered the fact that the seller could easily just change the name back after a year or two?

Moreover, names can be rejected on the basis that they are obscene or considered to place an unfair burden on the individual. Many cases of parents naming their children something wacky or rude have met this fate.

Just something to consider before dropping $4,010.

Just checking in for an update. I’d love to know your babies new name. I hope it’s something you like!

It would be cool to be named Elvis Presley or Candy Barr or Bart Simpson. Hopefully the baby won’t be named Pudsey Bear like this woman: http://crazycraponebay.blogspot.com/2008..

Here’s an update: The ebay winner didn’t pay, so the seller relisted and then it was yanked off ebay. She hasn’t bothered to provide a real update on this blog.

Wow that’s sad. So she’s a scammer, thankfully no one paid that amount of money and yeah she could just get the name changed eventually.

I kept up with this auction until it closed a week or two ago. Also checked back with this b log to check on the name. Today I did just a small amount of research and this is what I found. The seller of the babies name changed her ID on e bay back in Oct 08. She has won some 17 auctions on ebay since Jan 16 09, and paid over $350 for 17 winning auctions. She has sold only one thing (laptop for around $450) on ebay since she changed her ID. The winner of the laptop had over 350 feedbacks over the past yr with 100% positive. The winner of the laptop left NEG feedback for this mother seller her babies name stating that she paid for the laptop, but they never received it. Makes you wonder about this so called unemployed women selling her Babies name. She might sell her baby if the price is right. You can find all what I stated on ebay…

There’s way more to the story and I’m glad the winner didn’t pay. She was selling a sad story, yes, but I’ve done some research and found many posts on another forum and her stories don’t add up. On one messageboard she had even mentioned needing to get her “enhancements” redone after this baby….that’s probably where the $$$ would have gone. She’s been married and divorced twice (has 3 other kids by two different ment), was pregnant with her first when she was 15, and is currently pregnant again and unmarried. On top of that, she mentioned on the other messageboard that the guy who bought her laptop refused to pay her but still wanted the item (yeah, right). I looked at her winner’s feedback and he has over 400 comments with 100% positive feedback. It’s obvious this woman is making up lies. Pretty sad she would rather sell her unborn baby’s name to make money rather than selling personal possessions.

I’m so glad that you guys have caught her out. I throught she was fake and she is sucking everyone on her Expecting broad in. How sad that she has to make things up and try to sell her baby’s name rights.
